Zheng Jia graduated as the 10th batch of the NTU Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine Double Degree Programme in 2019. He started his career as a physician in the inaugural Resident Physician Programme in Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, where he had the privilege to treat patients in both the clinic and inpatient wards for a wide variety of infirmities such as stroke, dementia, diabetes. He has also given a number of TCM educational talks to both the public and fellow physicians. He has a deep interest in acupuncture and pain management. In his free time, he volunteers at SGCares to care for the migrant worker community in Singapore.
Zheng Jia believes that TCM can play a strong and effective complementary role to western medicine, and hopes for stronger collaboration to tackle Singapore’s healthcare issues.
